Greig Bolderrow retired

Greig Bolderrow has just retired after a long and distinguished career in radio, going from a 17-year-old announcer to 33 years as manager at Southern Cross Austereo in Wide Bay. "Boldy" is a legend not only in radio but also in community service and theatre.​

Neil Bradshaw

Neil Bradshaw has been appointed General Manager Fraser Coast (Maryborough & Hervey Bay) with responsibility for Hit101.9 and Triple M Fraser Coast 103.5, and the Nine TV brands in Maryborough. Neil joined the company in Maryborough in Sales 20 years ago, took on the role of General Sales Manager Fraser Coast in 2000, before moving into the GSM Wide Bay (Maryborough, Hervey Bay & Bundaberg) gig in 2009. Neil takes the reins effective immediately, replacing Greig Bolderrow who has retired after 33 years at the station.

Anthony Thompson moves to 2AY ACE Radio

Anthony Thompson from ACE Radio Network's 3HA Mixx FM Hamilton is moving to Albury. Thomo has been Content Director in Hamilton for a couple of years and before that he was the commercial producer for Gippsland's 1242 and TR FM. Thomo started in Albury on the 3rd of April and it's a homecoming of sorts for him as he grew up not far from there.

Peter Cundall, considered a National Living Treasure and Tasmanian gardening legend, had his 90th birthday on April 2, and to celebrate ABC Radio Hobart hosted ‘Pete’s Picnic’ at the Royal Tasmanian Botanical Gardens broadcast live across Tasmania.
