WorldAudio has appointed Lee Cornell to the new role of Group Manager, National Broadcast Operations for RADIO 2. He has worked extensively in UK broadcasting including Group Program Director of The Wireless Group.

Controversial tv presenter, John Safran, will do a new Sunday afternoon program (2-5) from this weekend on Triple J. The shift might become permanent, amid ongoing uncertainty over whether other commitments will prevent Roy and HG returning later this year to present ‘This Sporting Life’.

Blink & Coops are back for Breakfast at Star FM Dubbo (NSW) as of Monday 27 September. The 2002 Commercial Radio Award winners, Sarah Blinco and Cooper Dawson (formerly of Now FM Moree) have joined the Star FM team in Dubbo and are looking forward to returning to radio after a year back home in Queensland, where Cooper has been working in Sales and Sarah has been managing PR and Publicity for Gold Coast lifestyle magazine Life.

Garry Suprain has joined Radiowise to head up the RADD campaign as National Manager. He replaces Dave Carter who is going back to mcm in an international role. Suprain is best known for instigating the New Years’ Eve Sky Shows for Austereo in the eighties. He then joined the fireworks company that put on the shows and successfully marketed the concept around the world.
