Greg Allen, Breakfast announcer at Sydney’s FM103.2, will be leaving the station in the new year. He is returning to Melbourne for family reasons but plans to remain in the radio industry.

Jay and The Doctor (Jason Whalley and Lindsay McDougall of Frenzal Rhomb) are the new Triple J breakfast presenters, starting from 17 January. They replace Adam Spencer and Wil Anderson, who did their last show today after five years together.

James O'Brien has been appointed the new program director at ABC 702 Sydney, replacing Angie Nelson who was acting in the position.

Kelly Golding is the new breakfast producer for Adelaide's MIX102.3, working with Kym, Ali & Dzelde. Programme Director, Ben Latimer says: "Kelly has been working with us in an on air capacity on weekends for a while now. Her knowledge of Adelaide, vast contact list and radio skills make her the perfect choice for this important role."

General Manager and Sales' chief, Louise Barrett, will leave 2GB along with Agency Sales' Manager, Chris Thornton. CEO, Angela Clark, will take over the agency sales' role in the meantime.

Glenn Wheeler has resigned from 2GB. Jason Morrison will be hosting the Weekend Mid-Dawn program this weekend, and as of this weekend Malcolm T. Elliott will host the Saturday and Sunday weekend evening programs (Saturday 4pm-8pm and Sunday 4pm-6pm prior to SportsZone with Andrew Moore). Jason has a longstanding relationship with 2GB and fills in for Philip Clark over summer.

Lyn Griffiths has resigned as General Manager of 100.7 Sea FM  and  Mix 106.3  in Townsville. General Sales Manager Adam Cross  has been appointed acting General Manager until a permanent replacement is announced.

Radio veteran, Malcolm T Elliott, has resigned from 2UE. Elliott, 58, left on Friday. Despite undergoing quintuple bypass surgery earlier this year, he says he is not ready to hang up his headphones yet.
