Veronica Milsom Wastes no time saving the planet in a new podcast series

New mum and radio host, Veronica Milsom, has today released her new diary-esque comedy podcast series, Zero Waste Baby, on PodcastOne Australia.

There is no doubt this minimalistic way of living comes with its challenges. While Veronica highlights the extreme environmental impact raising a baby can have, she also acknowledges the major inconvenience of cutting out wipes to disposable nappies causes for one sleep-deprived mother.

Throughout the series, Veronica will be joined by likeminded guests who provide guidance on how to raise a zero-waste baby. Including the ABC’s Craig Reucassel, Placenta Encapsulator and Umbilical Cord Artist Virginia Maddock, Zero Waste Author, Influencer and homemade beauty product maker Anita Vandyke and Marie-Kondo trained consultant Pilar Llorente.

Veronica said: “They say don’t work with kids and animals but no one ever said anything about babies. Turns out they’re harder to work with because they’re just small kids who act like animals!

“I wanted to become a zero-waste parent for the good of the environment… and to make sure I was the morally superior one in my mothers’ group! After I finished up on radio, I decided I needed an impressive new job title. So now I’m a ‘Stay At Home Zero Waste Podcasting Mum’.”

PodcastOne Australia Head of Content, Jen Goggin, said: “Veronica’s honesty, together with her strong comedic sensibilities, has allowed her to make a series that deals with heavy topics like our environmental future and the struggles of parenting, in a way that’s engaging, entertaining and hilarious. This is a series that everyone needs to listen to.”
