Smash Hits hits airwaves

Smash Hits Radio is a new weekly music show which will be launched on Australian radio this weekend. Hosted by Phil Brandel and Smash Hits editor Genevieve Quigley, the show is “packed with celebrity gossip, exclusive interviews and the 20 smash hit songs of the week”.

Smash Hits magazine, an EMAP publication, is the number one teen entertainment title published in Australia. It is 18 years old and currently has a circulation of 32,591 per month and over 188,000 readers.

Captain Cooke Productions has joined forces with EMAP Australia to produce the program.

Smash Hits Radio starts on: The Edge 96.1 FM Sydney 7pm Sunday nights, River 94.9 in Brisbane, Sea FM 101.5 Rockhampton 6pm Saturday nights, Mix 106.3 Townsville 6pm Sunday nights, Sea FM 99.5 Cairns 8am Sunday mornings, Sea FM 98.7 Mackay 8am Sunday mornings, the Ace Network [3TR FM Gippsland, Mix FM Colac, Coast FM Warnabool, Mix FM Hamilton, Mix FM Horsham, Mix FM Swan Hill] 7am Sunday mornings.
