Sea FM announces summer breakfast hosts

Media personality Liz Cantor and radio host Micheal “Pickle” Walkley have been named as the summer breakfast hosts for Sea FM on the Gold Coast.

The two, who have worked together before, will heat up mornings with hit music, good times and celebrity interviews while the regular breakfast crew Galey, Matt and Charli take a break.

Liz originally got her break in 2005 when she won Channel Seven TV show The Mole. She then went on to pursue a professional surfing career travelling the world with the likes of Layne Beachley and Lisa Anderson. She is also an actress, appearing in several Australian films and TV series including the Blue Water High. She is now a weekly weather, beach and surf presenter on Seven News, the host of the live Gold Lotto national draws and a presenter on Creek to Coast and The Great South East.

Micheal has been a regular on Sea FM since 1999 and currently hosts The Gold Coast Suns Game Day shows.

Sea FM Content Director Andrew Very said: We’re thrilled to have Liz Cantor join Sea regular Michael “Pickle” Walkley across the Summer break. Liz brings excellent local knowledge coupled with an impressive black book of celebrity friends we’ll be calling on to help keep the seats warm for Galey Matt and Charli while they are on a well-deserved holiday!.”

Liz Cantor said: I am thrilled to be spending the summer at home with Sea FM. I am hopelessly excited by the festive season and can’t wait to share with the Gold Coast the stories, experiences and laughs that this time of year brings…. as well as keeping the town up-to-date on breaking news and the latest in entertainment and celebrity gossip. I promise not to sing, but I can’t promise I won’t dance. Poor Pickle.”

Micheal Walkey said: “I first came to Sea FM for work experience out of high school now they can’t get rid of me. Being a full time Belieber is a big commitment, I just hope the other Beliebers can continue on without me while I host Summer Brekky”.
