Sam Frost to revive radio career?

It’s rumoured former 2DayFM breakfast announcer Sam Frost is joining Fitzy and Wippa on Nova 96.9.

Entertainment reporter Peter Ford made the announcement this morning on The Morning Show suggesting Sam, who is currently starring in Seven’s reality show ‘Hell’s Kitchen’ will replace Sarah McGilvray who is taking maternity leave.

radioinfo contacted Nova Entertainment for clarification.

“We respect Sam Frost but on the subject of her joining Fitzy & Wippa while Sarah is on maternity leave, that’s news to us.”

The former Bachelorette headed back to reality TV after losing her contract mid-year with SCA.

She also won a role in the long running soap Home and Away, her first acting gig.
