Rod & The Flack go all the way (to Sydney Airport) for their listeners

The NSW Central Coast arguably has the highest number of commuters in Australia, with the majority enduring the daily grind either on the train or in the car on the freeway to Sydney. But what’s the quickest way to go?

This has been the question for the ages ever since the city of Gosford was founded… almost.

Star 104.5’s breakfast show, Rod and The Flack decided to do the ultimate Central Coast Commuter challenge. Rod in the car, The Flack by train, each making their way from the Star studios in Erina to Sydney Airport.

The winner? It was Rod in the car by about 20 minutes. The Flack forced to hitchhike…change trains, and wander aimlessly through Sydney airport before finding Rod.

Apparently, listeners were thrilled the boys got out of the studio and lived in their world for a day!
