mix94.5 has a brand new show.

The Jam, hosted by Sam Longley & Janelle Koenig, will feature on Saturday mornings from 6am to 8am. 

Janelle Koenig is a 15 year stand-up comedy veteran, a co-writer for Joel Creasey and performs her own rave-review shows at Perth Fringe World and Perth International Comedy Festival … not to mention she is super excited to get on board with mix94.5 as one half of The Jam.

“A dream come true is a phrase that gets bandied around far too much, but in this case of our new show, it’s absolutely spot on for me,” says Janelle.

“And thank goodness it was my radio dream that came true, and not the one where I was married to Derryn Hinch. That would be much less exciting!”

Helping Janelle keep Perth laughing well into their weekends is Sam Longley. Sam has been an actor, comedian, writer and director from the nineties, as well as the creator of the ever-popular The Big Hoo-Haa.

“I’ve always wanted to work with Janelle Koenig. She cracks me up. It’s going to be hard keeping my laughter under control,” says Sam.
 
“The Jam is going to be a sweet and sticky start to your Saturday. I can’t wait!”

mix94.5 Content Director, Erica Hodge, says the show will be covering the gamut from chats with other local comedians to local legends and even give families the skinny on what’s happening in Perth to do with the kidlets for free!
