MIX106.5, BridgeClimb and match.com helped Sydney’s singles get into the Valentines Day spirit last week by bringing seven ‘perfect matches’ face-to-face on top of the Sydney Harbour Bridge.

The matchmaking Climb was the culmination of a two week radio promotion on MIX 106.5FM, dubbed Sleepless in Sydney.

On the Friday before Valetines Day, the ‘Sleepless in Sydney’ singles ascended from opposite sides of the Bridge and met their potential match for the first time at the summit of the Harbour Bridge. All the singles then had the opportunity to get to know each other, at a relaxed harbourside brunch hosted by The Sebel Pier One.

Leading up to Valentines Day, nominations from hopeful singles flooded the MIX106.5 website and compatible couples were selected by match.com in time for the big date.

Love God, Richard Mercer, interviewed one single each night on his Love Songs Dedications program leading up to the event. While only time will tell if the couples find true love, there was certainly some contact details being exchanged once everyone was back on solid ground.
