… as ABC Grandstand brings ball-by-ball action of Women’s and Men’s Ashes. 

This Sunday, the Women’s Ashes will be broadcast live from Brisbane’s Allan Border Field on local ABC Radio and DAB+ Grandstand Digital radio from 10am. Jim Maxwell, is back in the commentary box and will be joined by a team of experts and commentators, including former Australian players Lisa Sthalekar and Mel Jones.

Nick Morris ABC head of Sport says “It’s going to be a really exciting summer of cricket, both on the field and for those listening via the radio. I am really delighted by our commitment to broadcast every match of the Women’s Ashes, which this year sees the top two teams in the world competing for the number one spot.

“I’m also delighted to announce we have created a partnership with the Ladies Who Legspin podcast, who will bring our audiences their unique take on women’s cricket throughout the Women’s Ashes and WBBL.”
