Over the past few weeks ARN has been ‘unbranding’ the station formerly known as Mix, with announcers omitting any mention of the M word and old promos being deleted.
Listening this week, the only mentions we heard of ‘Mix’ were in news and traffic themes, which presumably were not worth remaking until the new branding is unveiled on Monday. Presenters have been calling it “Sydney’s 106.5” in the interim before the Kiis name officially begins on air next week.
Hyping up to the name change and the launch of Kyle and Jackie’s new show, the station has been increasing its preview promos for Kyle and Jackie, with breakfast teasers now running in every stop set.
