Jo Beth Taylor joins The Heat Noosa

Jo Beth Taylor has been signed to The Heat Noosa to partner Jamie Dunn in breakfast year on the newly revamped station.

Bill Caralis recently sold The Heat 96.1 to Rob Gamble, who is now undertaking various programming changes as part of a repositioning strategy being built around Dunn.

Gamble has told radioinfo this is “just the next step” towards assembling an on and off-air team that will provide Sunshine Coast with a whole new listening and advertising experience:

“We’re really excited about our hand-picked team in Noosa, and Jo Beth is obviously a huge addition to our line up. We’re all looking forward to bringing a new listening choice to the coast. The commitment we all share in here is to provide fun and entertaining radio with a whole new look and feel. We can’t wait!”

Noosa local Taylor is pleased to return to her “beloved Noosa” as part of her come back to the entertainment industry.

The former Australia’s Funniest Home Videos host and Hey Hey It’s Saturday cast member now lives at Sunrise Beach with her young son. She has told radioinfo:

“It’s so great to be back on the coast in the best part of the world, about to work on the best new radio station in the world. I’m ecstatic!”

Jo Beth will commence her on-air role following the full re-launch of The Heat 96.1 FM in February.
