Hobart radio survey released

Radio ratings have been released for Hobart, providing up-to-date data on who’s listening to radio in the Tasmanian capital.

The most listened to station is 936ABC Hobart, with 20.8%, followed by Hit 100.9 on 18.2%.

7HO was third most listened to station, with 16.3%, followed by Heart 107.3 on 13.9%.

Triple j also scored a healthy share of listening, with 12.1%, followed by Radio National, Classic FM and News Radio.
 
The survey results are the first to be released for Hobart since 2014, with commercial stations Hit 100.9 (formerly Sea FM), Heart FM and 7HO serving the market.
 
Hobart is one of 25 radio surveys to be undertaken across regional Australia this year to reinvigorate regional radio. 
 
The Hobart research was carried out by Xtra Insights with a sample of 1200 participants.
