dmg Radio Australia has released a new application for iPhone and iPod touch that gives Nova listeners direct access to information about the latest events around the country.

The Nova Events application is likely to become a one-stop destination for all the information on the latest concerts, comedy tours and music festivals in Australia.

With a simple swipe, users can browse all the events coming up in their town and click through to an event detail screen with all the gig details and a map pinpointing the venue location. You can even buy tickets directly from your phone.

Soon users will also be able to upload their own event reviews and photos directly from their iPhone or iPod touch. The information will then uploaded to www.novafm.com.au for others to see.

The Nova Events app was designed in-house at dmg Radio Australia and is now available for download from the App Store on iTunes.

dmg Radio Australia is one of the first national radio networks to develop a suite of applications for iPhone and iPod touch that allow listeners to tune into any dmg station with the touch of a button.
