3AW 693’s afternoon presenter Ernie Sigley has decided to put a little colour in his hair…well, a lot actually. As part of this year’s World’s Greatest Shave, Ernie will be colouring his hair live on air during a Friday lunch in March in aid of The Leukaemia Foundation.

Listeners get to choose whether he’ll look best in Pink, White, Blue, Purple, Red, Green or any other shade in between. The colour with the most wins.

Funds raised will ensure the Leukaemia Foundation can improve patients’ quality of life through personalised and practical care. This includes the provision of ‘home away from home’ accommodation near major treatment centres, information and emotional support, education and support programs, transportation to and from hospital and practical assistance free of charge.

Money raised will also fund vital research into better treatments and cures.
