CRA New Artist winner heads to Nashville

Caitlyn Shadbolt, who won Commercial Radio Australia’s New Artist to Nashville scholarship, heads off to the US this Friday.

The award provided Shadbolt with the opportunity to perform at the Country Music Association’s global artist showcase GlobaLive! at the world’s largest country music festival, the CMA Music Festival in Nashville, Tennessee.

She will be performing on June 6.

Caitlyn Shadbolt had an amazing start to 2016, performing on stage with Lee Kernaghan at the Golden Guitars, and winning both the CMC New Oz Artist of the Year award and the CRA scholarship.

Recently back from a songwriting trip to Bali, she’s off to Nashville next tand then plans to work on her full length album release.

“Running in Circles” will be the final single to be lifted from her debut EP release and follows her previous hits, “Maps Out The Windows”, “Shoot Out The Lights” and “Pushing Through”.

‘I wrote Running In Circles essentially about society. I can’t comprehend how we can come so far as humans and create incredible technology and put a man on the moon but somehow we still have racism, domestic violence and kids being bullied in school. I honestly feel that some days we are running in circles,” explains Caitlyn.
