Boom Radio entertained the attendees of the Skills West Careers Expo last weekend.

The expo, held at the Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre drew crowds from all over Western Australia. 

 Boom Radio broadcast live for the entire 3-day event, with many guest interviews throughout the weekend including deputy premier Liza Harvey and My Kitchen Rules stars Jordan and Anna Bruno.
 
Head of Radio, Phillip Vinciullo said: “Skills West Expo showcases the diverse offerings within  WA education providers, I’m  proud to say Boom Radio and North Metropolitan Tafe provided exceptional support, insight and advice to future students in broadcasting and other career options.”
 
Boom Program Director, Daniel Huddy commented: “Skills West 2016 was a major success for Boom Radio, the clear standout for the team was having the opportunity to interview the deputy premier Liza Harvey. We thoroughly enjoyed our involvement this year and cannot wait to be back in 2017.”
 
Boom Radio is currently Radioflag’s College Radio Station of the Year, and broadcasts live every day from Leederville.
