Vision Australia hopes to meet with ministers "sooner rather than later" as a funding shortfall puts a Bendigo radio station at risk. Changes to the National Disability Insurance Scheme have left Vision Australia Radio with a $700,000 shortfall that needs to be fixed by the end of 2019. Federal shadow minister for the NDIS Bill Shorten visited Bendigo and called on the government to find "a modest amount of money" to make sure Vision Australia Radio continued.
