Is this Australia’s youngest radio GM and jock?

He’s possibly Australia’s youngest radio GM. In fact he’s got to be, doesn’t he (?)

Meet Josh Agnew, 10 years old turning 11 in 2015.

Ask him what he does and he’ll tell you he’s the General Manager of JNet an Australian Internet/Broadcast Radio Station and he’s the 6 til 7pm announcer.

If that’s not enough, Josh also hosts two other shows on 97.1 FM a community radio station in Oatlands Tasmania, Blast from the Past and Hot 20.

“I have been involved in community radio since October 2011. I have been running JNET since early 2013”.

If you do the math that means Josh has been in radio since he was six!

” I just like music and the idea of talking to thousands of people at once while only talking to one object. I have had my love of radio since I was 4 – All I want to do when I’m and adult is be a radio announcer.”

You’re off to a great start Josh. Good luck.

And for anyone looking for the next big thing, take a listen to this junior jock.
