After 52 years in radio, Ian Toull calls it a day

After three stints covering 20 plus years with ARN, radio veteran Ian “Toully” Toull is leaving the network’s  Melbourne studios come September 30th.
 
Since beginning his radio career back in 1968 he has covered many roles including announcer, studio manager, program director, general manager of regional stations 3WM, 3CV, 3SR and Sun FM 96.1 as well as G.M. of Melbourne stations including 3DB, 3TT, TTFM and 3MP. In recent years he’s been general sales manager at The Edge96.1 and ARN Melbourne.
 
In leaving ARN, Toull says he’s excited for the future of radio/audio and digital, given the incredible young talent coming through ready to take the industry to new heights in communication and entertainment.
 
With a career spanning over 50 years Toull syas he’s very grateful for what the industry has afforded him and considers himself very lucky to have been in a business which has been a “labour of love” that has provided numerous highlights, fond memories and most importantly, many great friends.
