The 2021 AFL season returned last week and, marking its 25th year of coverage, Triple M will continue its live and local commentary across all key games and maintain AFL focused radio programs which are available for all footy fans across the country.

Newcomers to the Triple M Footy family this year include ex Hawthorn heavyweight, Jason Dunstall and ex St Kilda superstar, Nick Riewoldt.

Jason, aka ‘The Chief’, is returning to the M’s this year and will join Luke Darcy, Mark Howard, Nathan Brown and Damian Barrett for the Triple M Footy Friday Huddle ahead of the biggest games of the round.

Riewoldt will be providing special commentary on select matches across the Triple M Footy season, along with co-hosting The Rush Hour with Billy Brownless when James Brayshaw is on leave.

Triple M’s Rush Hour Drive programs across Australia feature the likes of key industry names and legends of the sport including, Billy Brownless, Lachy Reid, Andrew Jarman, Andrew Embley and Bernie Vince to breakdown the latest in sports news.

Triple M will cover all key games right up until the final siren of the Grand Final on September 25 with their AFL call team made up of the sport’s legends including Luke Darcy, James Brayshaw, Xavier Ellis and Dale Thomas.

SCA Head of Sports Content, Ewan Giles, says, “Triple M is blessed to have some of the biggest names in the game on our commentary team. We take the game seriously, but not ourselves and that’s what Triple M footy listeners want.”
