ABC’s Bali special presented by Jon Faine

ABC Local Radio will commemorate the one-year anniversary of the Bali bombing with a special nationwide broadcast 9.55am – 12noon on Sunday, 12th October.

Hosted by ABC 774 Melbourne presenter Jon Faine, the program will remember the 202 people killed in the bomb blast, in particular the 88 Australians who lost their lives in the tragedy.

The program will also include coverage of the special Bali Memorial Service, by the ABC’s Indonesia Correspondent Tim Palmer, and reporter Mark Bowling, as well as interviews and tributes from survivors, and the friends and families of the victims.

More than 15 hundred Australians are expected to travel to Bali to attend this special memorial service, including Prime Minister, John Howard and Opposition Leader, Simon Crean.
