4BC down to just one local weekday show with afternoons networked from 2GB

2GB’s Chris Smith has three new babies to start the year.

Twins were born by partner Susie Burrell a few days ago and his 2GB afternoon show is starting on 4BC on February 1st.

Smith announced on air this morning on 2GB, where he has been filling for Alan Jones who is still on holidays, that his regular afternoon show will be networked into Brisbane’s 4BC from next Monday – midday to 3pm.

Smith will replace Clare Blake who left the station last year. That leaves the Drive shift with Ben Davis 4BC the only local weekday program left on the station.

BTW, twins Aengus and Henry were born 4pm last Sunday weighing 2.6kg & 3.6kg respectively.
