2005: Year in Review September to December

In this third part of our Year in Review we cover September to December.

SEPTEMBER

Macquarie Regional RadioWorks finally off-loaded its excess stations this month, selling stations to Ace Radio and Prime TV. In the USA New Orleans was struck by a cyclone and many stations in that area went off air. Radioinfo this month revealed the shady past of National Radio News’ James Montgomery.

In other news: Macquarie Network (2GB/2CH) reported a $4 million profit in its first year as a public company, survey 6 results were released, and a monkey was picking music at Triple M.
