SENSpirit welcomes Jarred O’Brien and rebrands in WA

Sports Entertainment Network (SEN) has rebranded SENSpirit stations across the South West in WA and employed Jarred O’Brien (pictured) as Content Manager and presenter.

SENSpirit 621am South West has become SENSpirit 621am Bunbury and SENSpirit 1494am Margaret River is now SENSpirit 1494am Southwest. The latter is now heard more clearly across Augusta, Margaret River, Busselton, Dunsborough, Yallingyup, and surrounding areas.

Jarred O’Brien is a well known voice in the community. The Collie native will host Breakfast from 6-8am Tuesday to Friday, weekday afternoons, specialised local shows and South West Saturday.

South West Footy League (SWFL) commentary is back on the weekend hosted by Alan Craney (Craney) with co-hosts John Baggetta, Cam Robbins and Darren McDonald. On The Ball with Craney and Kris features on a Friday afternoon as well as SENSpirit’s totally biased calls of Dockers and Eagles AFL games, season 2024.

Scott Cummings and Tim Gossage‘s  Scotty & Goss for Breakfast will now be heard on Monday mornings from 6-8am wrapping up the sporting weekend. Other WA sports identities part of the extended SENSpirit lineup include Mornings with Mark Duffield, The Run Home Hase & Marto (Former Fremantle great Paul Haselby and former Perth Wildcats Damian Martin) and Sportsday with Peter Vlahos.

This rebrand and focus on local for South West WA also reflects and includes SEN’s acquirement of the Augusta-Margaret River Mail and Busselton-Dunsborough Mail regional newspapers in April 2023.
