Adelaide’s internet radio station, play / pause / play, is celebrating 1000 app downloads after launching in June following a successful crowdfunding campaign.
The 100% Australian music station, that has a focus on new releases and artists performing in Adelaide, will hold their first ever ‘Heaps Good 50’ countdown from 1pm December 26th.
Managing director, Luke Penman, says, “It’s a great way to take a moment and recognise the great music made this year, as well as a great way to discover new local artists.
“Listeners are loving hearing emerging South Australian artists in amongst their Aussie favourites and are buying tickets to see their top play / pause / play discoveries. People who have lost their connection to the local scene are telling me it makes them want to leave the house again.”
