Station welcomes Fairlie back to the fold

Thursday 09 July, 2015

Former i98 presenter Fairlie Hamilton is returning to the station to co-host the Breakfast slot with Marty Haynes.

Hamilton, who is well-known to listeners from her previous six-year stint at the station, had no doubts about taking up an offer to rejoin the crew, having missed the amazing Illawarra lifestyle during her recent travels.

We lithen to them every day don't we babe!

Marty and Bianca take the pith (listen for the lisp) out of themselves and their Wollongong audience in i98's newest tv campaign, which begins this week.

The i98 breakfast pair are equally satirical of the whole spectrum of their audience, sending up the toffs as well.

"Marty's dad jokes, he's just adorable isn't he. He reminds me of my driver James," says Bianca in character.

Bianca Dye gets snake scare

Tuesday 08 April, 2014
Marty surprised Bianca Dye on the i98 breakfast show this morning with a visit from the Illawarra Reptile Society…and their snakes.

With two large snakes inside the small confines of the studio Bianca had to do some deep breathing to keep calm. Then they gave Rocky the friendly python to her to hold…and they became friends, of sorts.
