Boost Juice share sale cost $18 million: Janine Allis tells Hughesy and Kate

With Jeff Allis working in radio years ago, many of his radio friends invested in his wife's fledgling company Boost Juice.

Janine Allis, who is now appearing on Survivor was on air with Hughesy & Kate and told a story about a radio executive who invested in her Boost Juice franchise in the early days.

He then sold his original Boost Juice shares to buy an engagement ring for his new girlfriend.  

Hughesy cottons on to a bright idea in return for car accident

If Hit Network’s Dave Hughes is looking a bit more well dressed lately, it could all be thanks to a recent car accident.
Hughesy backed into another car in the narrow streets of South Yarra after a particularly strenuous gym session recently, causing minor damage.
That vehicle he ran into was part of the fleet owned by Cotton On clothing company founder, billionaire Nigel Austin.

As Group Programme Director for Nova Entertainment, he would say that, wouldn’t he? It’s his network’s Drive team that commands 12.4 per cent of surveyed listeners in the five metro markets with 1,620,700 tuning in every week, according to the latest GFK figures released just last week.

Not that their competitors are slouches but when this three way battle began about two years ago Kate, Tim and Marty were tipped to come third. Instead they’ve consolidated first.
