This morning Foreign Minister Julie Bishop was in the studio talking to Triple M Melbourne’s Hot Breakfast team Eddie McGuire, Mick Molloy and Luke Darcy

The interview began tamely enough with an orderly discussion about foreign policy, the situation in Bali, her portfolio and career.  

Then something ‘Mick’ this way came.

Triple M Melbourne's Hot Breakfast with Eddie McGuire, Mick Molloy and Luke Darcy will give back to Victoria’s Tyabb community on Monday 1st December during an OB that will see a carnival staged for the community, to support the Luke Batty Foundation and the Tyabb Junior Football Club.

The Hot Breakfast will broadcast live from the club from 6am – 9am, featuring Shane Warne who will be both on air and on-the-ground bowling to Mick, Darce and some lucky local kids.

The Hot Breakfast’s Mick Molloy and Luke Darcy are on a plane to Brazil for the 2014 FIFA World Cup. 

The trip is part of the Chuck a Sickie with Mickey competition, which saw listeners Australia-wide vie to take time off from work and get over to the land of Samba and Capoeira.

In partnership with BetEasy, Mick and Luke are travelling across the world with eight Triple M fans who are chucking a sickie to soak up all the ‘futebol’ festivities and to attend the Australia vs Spain game in Curitiba.
