Grant Denyer is back on breakfast over summer

Grant Denyer and Yvie Jones will join forces to host the Hit Network's national Summer Breakfast show across metro markets, from December 9 for two weeks.

Both are well-known to the Hit Network audience with Grant having recently hosted 2Day FM breakfast and Yvie covering Fifi Box’s maternity leave on Fox FM.

Last time Breakfast on Red cohosts Alana McLean and Robbie Klitzing had Denyer on their show, Robbie made the embarrassing mistake of asking Denyer how his dance skills were.

Southern Cross Austereo has confirmed that 2Day FM has changed its music policy, as programs resume for the 2018 broadcast year.

"Yes we have tweaked our programming to make sure we’re playing more of the music that our audiences want to hear," a spokesperson has told radioinfo.

Off the back of his Logies scorching, Grant Denyer spoke to Heidi, Will & Woody this morning, who couldn't resist asking him about being targeted by comedic genius, Dave Hughes.
In case you missed it, Hughes singled out the Gold Logie Finalist, calling him an adrenaline junkie and poking fun at his height.
"He crashed his car into a tree at 160km per hour ... the only thing that saved him was the seven pillows he was sitting on!" Hughes joked.
