Looking specifically at women and families in the Pacific and Torres Strait Islands, No Land, No Livelihood, No Home centers issues of displacement, relocation, science, finance, food and culture in the face of immense change.

CRN’s Segments Series has begun its second round, seeking 10-part short series for network stations to use during magazine programming.

The work is open to community radio broadcasters or producers and requires permission from one’s station to participate. It gives presenters and producers a chance to flex their creative thinking, develop production skills, and share radio content on a national platform.

$500 payments will be made on delivery of a 10-pt series of segments

The Community Radio Network, CBAA’s national program distribution service, is seeking short series for distribution to stations for drop-in use during magazine programming.

Community Radio broadcasters recognised with OAMs

Among a range of radio broadcasters recognised in this year's Australia Day honours list are three community broadcasters.

Adrian Lipscomb has been awarded the Medal of the Order of Australia for service to the community of Bellingen. Mr Lipscomb has served as chairperson, director, volunteer, and on-air presenter with the local community radio station 2bbb-fm and has been involved with the station for over two decades.
