Kyle says "2GB would be a disaster" if Alan left

Drawing a parallel between his own experience when he and co-host Jackie O jumped ship from 2Day to KIIS, Kyle Sandilands warns 2GB management of dire consequences should they let Alan Jones go.

2GB, now owned by the Nine Network, must signal their desire to continue negotiations within days or Jones becomes a free agent and is rumoured to be considering several lucrative offers.

If you close your eyes really tight and listen very carefully, Kyle might just sound like a handy replacement for Alan.

Continuous Call Team returns for their 33rd year

Starting this Friday 15 March, Ray Hadley’s Continuous Call Team will return for their 33rd consecutive year on air , covering the National Rugby League on 2GB, 4BC, Macquarie Sports Radio Melbourne, Macquarie Sports Radio DAB+ Perth and  Network stations across Australia, New Zealand and Papua New Guinea.

Alan Jones and Michael Daley have had a heated discussion on the future of the SCG Trust Board on 2GB this morning with the NSW Opposition Leader saying he intends to “sack the board”.
Mr Daley told Jones, “If I’m elected, the board will go, I want a new broom through. I know you’ve been on that board for 30 years … but the board will go, it will be sacked”.

Victor Dominello begins defamation action against 2GB

NSW Minister for Finance Services and Property Victor Dominello has begun defamation action against 2GB for what he claims was a wrongful allegation of corruption in a new story broadcast in 2017.

In its 7am news bulletin on September 9, 2017, 2GB broadcast a story sourced to the Sydney Morning Herald, which later proved to be wrong. The station did not make an apology.

2GB’s Ray Hadley has vowed to become an advocate for sufferers of PTSD following the dismissal of charges against his son, Danial Hadley.
In August Daniel was arrested in possession of 0.66 grams of cocaine and yesterday a magistrate dismissed the charge under the Mental Health Act.

At the time of the arrest his father said he felt inadequate as a father
