Jan 2015 appointed to the role of Group Content Director – Hobart. Started on air at 7AD Devonport in 1985, before progressing through announcing, music director and assistant program director roles at 2GN, 2TM and FM 92.9. His first PD gig was at 2WG and FM93 (now Star FM) in 1996 before joining RG Capital (now SCA) in 2000, hosting breakfast on 3SR Shepparton and PD of SUNFM (now Star FM). Phil moved to Albury in 2003 to originally compete against Star FM as PD 105.7 The River and then taking on the Group Content Director’s role just 2 years later following the RG/DMG merger.
