After launching Radio 2 in Abu Dhabi, Kirsty Meyer is moving back to Australia as Content Director in Cairns for Southern Cross Austereo stations Hit and Triple M. She said on facebook: "Couldn't be more proud of the Radio 2 team I leave behind and the sound of the station. I'm excited to see it grow from strength to strength each day. My job here is done."

Sports caller Gerard Whateley is leaving ABC Radio and will move to SEN from the end of this month as Chief Sports Caller, to spearhead football and racing coverages and other yet to be announced broadcast assets.

Aurelia-Sophia Roman joined 2RRR 88.5FM towards the end of last year, hosting the Big Breakfast on Thursday mornings between 6:00-9:00am (Mon-Friday); she has been the Director of Marketing since August of 2016. ​ She is also the Executive Producer of Voca Italia

Following the departure of Sophie Tiller from the Hit106.9 breakfast team last month, co-hosts Simon Baggs (pictured below right) and Nick Gill (below left) will be joined by Jess Farchione (pictured). Jess joins the lineup from her current role on the Hit Network in Shepparton, and reports already feeling a kinship with Nick over their shared hatred of bananas.

Former SEN host and Channel 7 Front Bar identity Andrew Maher is returning to SEN take over the midday to 3pm slot from January 2018. Also at SEN, Garry Lyon and Tim Watson will return to the breakfast show in 2018 after strong ratings growth and a new mornings host will be announced in the new year.
