Former 2Day FM breakfast crew co-host, Paul Holmes, will present 'The Holmes Stretch' on 101.7 WSFM drive from Monday. WS has shuffled hours across the day to accommodate Holmes, meaning all existing announcers remain in their shifts.

over at Star 104.5fm in Gosford, Matt Chapman has been promoted from Client Manager to the position of Retail Sales Manager. Other developments in their fast expanding Sales team (as a result of larger than expected demand) include Tanya Williams who has recently joined Star 1045 from RG Capital in Townsville; Nada Kernaghan who arrives next week from the Central Coast’s Sun Weekly and Allana Byrne, from DMG in Coffs Harbour, who also starts in August .

Sam Chisholm has reportedly quit as Chairman of Macquarie Media Investments because of conflicts of interest. Mark Carnegie, who already chairs John Singleton's STW Communications, is tipped as the likely successor.

Chris Broad has begun his commercial radio career by scoring the morning host at MAX FM Taree. The former Max Rowley student hails from Sydney and becomes MAX FM's 3rd 'Chris' in as many years, replacing Macca McPhee who went to Power FM in Ballarat. The MAX FM line up now features Nicole McCracken on breakfast, Chris on mornings and Jeremy Miller on drive. Meanwhile the 2RE/MAX FM Crews are still celebrating their 5 finalists' nominations in this year's Radio Awards, the most in regional Australia.

mcm entertainment has appointed Greg Tremain as group sales and marketing manager. He will be based in Sydney. Greg was with Austereo for five years and previously worked at DDB on the MCDonald's account.

Star 1045 on the NSW Central Coast has a new sports show, 'Loose Heads', from 8-10am on Saturday mornings with Darrell Eastlake and Michelle Keighran. Eastlake will continue his regular breakfast spot, Monday-Friday.
