Australian Independent Radio News is proud to announce that another of their wonderful young news presenters is moving forward in her radio career. Saturday morning presenter Georgia Main has been appointed to the Newsdesk at 3BA/Power FM in Ballarat.

97.7 Snow FM's Willy & Jess - Damien Willoughby and Jess Doupe - are leaving the blizzards, icy roads, snowboards and beanies of Jindabyne, NSW behind and travelling north to take up a new brekky job at HOT FM in Gladstone/Rockhampton, QLD. Jess told radioinfo

Emergency spray tanning sessions have been booked and the snowy white pair will start on HOT FM week commencing September 19. During their time at Snow FM, they have also fulfilled roles as Program Director, Music Director, Receptionist, Snow Reporter, Promotions Director, Cleaner, Mouse Catcher and No 1 fans of the Jindabyne Piglets Under 10 Rugby Union Team ( Go Piggies!)

After almost eight years in the Radio industry, FM92.9 Tamworth's Stephen Walter is leaving to move to Television. One half of the award winning "brekky with the boys" with Kevin Rigby, Stephen spent five of those years in Tamworth.

Julie McCrossin has made her debut on ABC 702's breakfast shift this morning. For every technical error she makes, McCrossin will be donating a dollar to Westmead Children's Hospital.

Daniel Smith (Smithy) has been appointed as Programme Director for Sea Fm in Rockhampton and Gladstone. Smithy - part of the Smithy and Blunty Morning Crew - will continue with his Breakfast duties. Meantime, Steve Lanzon is now doing Drive on Sea Fm with Joh Switzer doing 10 - 2.

Sami Lukis has scored the hottest job in Sydney radio. She will be replacing Katrina Blowers as newsreader and co-host on Nova 969’s Merrick and Rosso breakfast show.

Kelly Underwood has resigned from 3AW. She is off to Channel 10 to work as a reporter in the sports department. Underwood will stay with 3AW until after the AFL Grand Final.

Over at 3WM Mixx FM in Horsham, Therese the Traffic and Office Manager, is on Maternity leave having had a baby boy, Wil, on 27th June - he's not destined for mid-dawn radio shiifts as he's already sleeping 9 hours straight every night.
