Phil Gray – English Station Manager at VOICE International Sunshine Coast (former PD at Sea FM Sunshine Coast and TTT FM Hobart) departs Australia early November to take up the role of ‘General Manager – Radio’ at the Rhema Broadcasting Group (RBG NZ) based in Auckland New Zealand. RBG, a large Christian Radio Network with some 65+ stations, nearly covers the entire nation with its three (3) networks of radio stations.

Former 1503 2BS Gold / B-Rock FM (Bathurst) Music Director and B-Rock FM Breakfast announcer Benny Hope has taken on the position of Breakfast Anchor for 105.9 Star FM in Orange. He will start on the air as of Monday October 18th and will form one half of 'Benny & Lisa In The Morning'

MIX 106.5 Sydney’s Drive Time JOX Dave Wright, can now also be heard through sister station MIX 101.1 Melbourne. Both shows are separate from each other, but both contain that touch of WRIGHTGUY.

2EC/Power FM Sales Rep and radio guru Col Mooney has moved to the Bowral office of sister Stations 2ST/Power FM to take up the announcer/newsreader role there. He is replaced in Batemans Bay by Yvonne De Bresser who comes from the press.


Guy “Cliffo” Clifton who has been working at Power FM Bega on work experience has scored a full time Job at the Grant Broadcasters sister stations 2NM/Power FM Muswelbrook.

2EC/Power FM Sales manager Graham McGillivray recently got himself elected to the local Eurobodalla Council as a councillor in a by-election – Graham's advice to other would be councillors “be careful what you wish for – it may happen!”

Robert Wood , image Production Producer of Hot Tomato, is off to 97.3 and 4KQ as Commercial and Image Producer – a position which is 62 kilometres closer to home. Rob McCasker said that "From day one Robbie has been a delight to work alongside. In that time he has not only done everything asked of him but has created a unique sound for The Tomato. A sound which will be hard to replace, but we’ll do our best. Watch this space. Congratulations, sincere thanks and nothing but the very best to Robbie in his new role. Robbie’s last day will be Friday October 29 giving us plenty of time for an appropriate farewell".

The Tom and Subby Show has launched on Triple M, Sydney and Melbourne. The show, which airs 7-10 weeknights, features stand-up comedians Tom Gleeson and Subby Valentine. Both have been regulars on Radiowise's long running Home Grown Humour series currently heard on 74 stations across Australia.

Wendy Allen, Promotions and Marketing Director at 92.9, has just left on Maternity Leave, effective October 4 2004. Sharni Ashby, currently Client Promotions Manager for Austereo Perth, will be taking over the role in her absence.
