DMG has appointed an Executive Producer of the Vega 95.3 breakfast show in Sydney with Angela Catterns, Tony Squires, and Rebecca Wilson. It is Alex Dean, who has most recently been Program Director at Star 104.5 on the Central Coast.

Peter Davidson has moved from Newcastle to Canberra, working for The Australian Traffic Network, doing traffic reports for Mix 106.3 and 104.7 Canberra in breakfast and drive.

Macquarie Radio News Director Ian Ferguson has made some changes in the 2GB Newsroom:

Rachael Stevens will be moving to the newsroom after a successful stint at State Parliament to become the afternoon-drive editor and anchor.Erin Maher will be shifting to the other end of the day as the new breakfast editor, and will also continue on air as morning anchor for Ray Hadley. Karl Hoerr will be moving to State Parliament. Rowan Barker continues as breakfast anchor and senior presenter.

94.3/97.9 STAR FM & 531 3GG Promotions Manager, Wendy Smith, has moved on to the Promotions Managers position at K-Rock/Bay FM. Shannon Neven and Kate Martin have been appointed as Promotion Co-ordinators. 531 3GG casual announcer Andrew Deak has moved fulltime into 531 3GG Breakfast, with James Clothier moving to 3GG Drive. Account Manager Jo Avery has left radio and is pursuing a real estate career. Former Administration Manager Sue Jones has returned to the station as an Account Manager.

Townsville Community Radio station has announced it has appointed Glenn Mintern as new Station Manager. He was formerly program director at 4TO FM. He will commence as Station Manager at 4ttt Townsville on Monday 31st July.
