Hannah Watkins has been appointed media contact for Nova 969. After three years of "group effort", DMG has opted to specialise the role. Hannah is assistant to DMG's Group Programming Director.

Former Melbourne Radio School student, Amanda Seiffert has taken on the role of Breakfast Co-host at 96.9 SUN FM Shepparton. This is her first radio gig.

Jarrod Graetz, Music Director, Assistant PD and drive announcer, from Sea Fm on the Central Coast is the replacement for Blair Sullivan at RCS.

Also joining, as Client Services RCS Mobile, is Sarah Parsons former Announcer and Music Director at HO FM in Hobart, Tasmania

Richard Howarth has been appointed Group Marketing Director of the Austereo Group. Formerly the Asia-Pacific Regional Advertising Manager for Coca-Cola Australia, Howarth will look after the Triple M and Today networks.

The hunt is on for a new Austereo Adelaide General Manager, with the shock resignation of Noelene Buddle. After 17 years at the helm, and taking SA.FM and 5MMM to the top in Adelaide, Buddle is leaving to spend more time with her young family.

After 2 years as manager, Pete Carroll has left Perth community station RTR FM 92. He has handed the reins over to Scoop Magazine Editor, Dan Stinton, who is also a presenter of the station's successful weekday afternoon dance show "Full Frequency." RTR FM has also hired Catherine Colvin from the WA Opera Company as Sponsorship Officer for the station, after Beck McGillivray finished up in early April.

Todd Campbell, has been appointed Program Director of dmg's HOT FM Queensland network. Todd came from Triple where he produced their networked drive show, “The Whole Shebang”, as well as the “Dead Set Legends Show”. Sean Ryan, Queensland GM of dmg Regional Radio said,
“I am very happy to welcome Todd to our team and I know that he will bring a fresh, new approach to the programming".

Austereo Group Ltd has announced the appointment of Chris Chard as alternate director to John Kirby. Mr Chard is Managing Director of Roadshow Films and Roadshow Entertainment, and co-chairman of Warner Roadshow Entertainment. Austereo Chairman, Peter Harvie, says: "Chris Chard brings great strength to the board through his leadership position in the entertainment industry. He will make an excellent contribution to our group."

Ron McCallum is the new Chairman of Sydney's 2RPH. This special station, which is celebrating its 21st birthday, provides a daily reading service for some 150 000 print handicapped people.

Sydney's MIX 106.5 has appointed Eddie Hribar as its new Assistant Program Director, replacing Jon Vertigan, who's heading home to Victoria as PD and breakfast announcer at Coast FM Warrnambool. Dave Wright remains Programming Assistant and will focus more on the on-air side. Katie Lloyd has joined the Sammy and Jason breakfast show as Producer, after stints at Triple M and Channel Nine's Today show.
