Comings and Goings

Adam Vaughan has moved from Mixx FM Hamilton, to go to sister Ace station 3CS Colac as breakfast host. Brendan ‘BMAC’ McIntosh moves from Coast FM Warrnambool, to go to Mixx FM Hamilton in place of Adam. Brendan will host afternoons on Mixx. Filling his spot at Warrnambool, is Jakob Pavlovic. Jakob comes from Mix 106.5 Sydney to fill the afternoon shift on Coast FM. In other Ace news, Jon Vertigan becomes PD of 3CS/Mixx FM Colac, adding to his Warrnambool obligations.

Rok FM Parkes' Breakfast announcer Melanni Heldon is heading home to Mudgee to host breakfast on Real FM, starting May 31. Ahead of Mel's moving in at Real FM, Nick Lowther has left breakfast to join the station's sales team, and 10-2 host Adrian Charlesworth has taken over as Music Director for 2MG / Real FM.

At 3MP Peter Tarnowski has been replaced as program director by Paul James, but remains with the company as operations manager/ evening announcer. There is a temporary roster for the next week or two, which will be followed by a more significant shift re-structure where
6-10am will be hosted by Shawn Cosgrove; 10-2pm Jane Holmes; 2-6pm Paul James and
6-10pm Peter Tarnowski. Steve Curtis/Mark Irvine will both be floating.

Daniel Akerman will join MIX 101.1 Melbourne as Program Director from May 12. For the past six years he's been Director of Programming and Marketing for NRJ Sweden based in Stockholm. Daniel has also spent several years in Paris and the U.S.
