Jan Müller has been appointed the new Chief Executive Officer of the National Film and Sound Archive for a four-year term. He is a highly experienced CEO and leader in the digital heritage and culture sector internationally. Since 2009, Mr Müller has been the CEO of the Netherlands Institute for Sound and Vision, which comprises one of the largest audio visual collections in Europe and Chair of the Europeana Foundation since 2015. Prior to turning to the cultural sector, Mr Müller had over 20 years working in the advertising industry including as CEO of Saatchi & Saatchi Amsterdam and as a member of the board of the agency in Europe.

New Zealand breakfast announcer Simon Barnett is not renewing his contract with More FM and MediaWorks at the end of 2018. Instead he will take up a position as host on Newstalk ZB.

Melissa Henville has left SCA as their National Trading and Operations Director to join the SBS Media team as Group Trading Inventory Manager. Melissa will oversee and manage the national trading team and pricing strategies across Television, Radio and Digital platforms.

'hit92.9' Assistant Content Director and Announcer James Speed will replace K rock 95.5's Leigh Kuhlmann from August 14th.'Speedy' heads to Geelong with over 14 years of radio experience, with on-air and senior operations roles with SCA stations in Perth, Adelaide and Newcastle.
