Macquarie Media has launched its first national program, Macquarie Weekly, hosted by Justin Smith. Focusing on news and current affairs, the program is live each Sunday on 2GB3AW4BC and 6PR and will look at the news of the week through the eyes and ears of the presenters, journalists and listeners of Macquarie Radio stations.

American professional basketball player Bryce Cotton from the Perth Wildcats’ National Basketball League team has joined 96fm.
 
Bryce joins 96fm’s Paul & Lise for Breakfast show as their official Perth Wildcat for the 2018/2019 basketball season. He will appear on the breakfast show weekly throughout the basketball season.
