Community Radio has proven a rich vein of talent, spawning such stars as Hamish and Andy, Ant and Becks, Stan Rowe and Amanda Keller. Mitchell Community Radio, OKR FM in Kilmore, Victoria is making its contribution to the Radio gene pool by launching it’s 5th Annual Young Presenters Quest with entrants now in training.

The Quest is open to students from years 6 to 12 with entrants coming from many parts of Mitchell Shire. The town of Wallan is right behind the quest even including it on the town’s Welcome sign. 

Final one hour shows will be presented during National Youth Week on April 18th and 19th.

Winners and several finalists from all the previous Quests are still on air with OKR.
