You too could see U2 in Frankfurt thanks to Classic Rock

There is one catch… To win, you need to be in a position to buy some advertising on Classic Rock 95.3FM (Sydney) and/or Classic Rock 91.5FM (Melbourne). In other words you need to work at an ad agency or one of their clients.

The second phase of dmg’s Classic Rock brand trade marketing campaign is The Great Classic Rock Quiz, a competition with the ultimate rock prize, a trip for 2 to experience U2 live in Frankfurt, Germany valued at $12,000.

The competition is open from 24 May to June 25 and entry is open to all Sydney and Melbourne agencies and clients through classicrock.dmgconnect.com.au.

Classic Rock’s initial trade marketing commenced on 10 May to reflect the stations’ identity as Sydney and Melbourne’s “Only pure Classic Rock station.” The campaign’s message is: Classic Rock listeners haven’t forgotten how to live and they haven’t forgotten their music – once it’s in your blood there is no cure.

Consumer marketing will be the next phase of the campaign.
