Yet,  KIIS FM listener Simon, is doing exactly the opposite. Having outlaid some $2,000 on a series of $100 multi bets, he’s parlayed one of them through a number of races, including last week’s Caulfield Cup – where he, once again, picked the winner – to be worth $70,000. 

Simon’s winning streak includes the winners of The Epsom Handicap (Winks), The Metropolitan (Magic Hurricane), and The Caulfield Cup (Mongolian Khan). All he needs now is for his well backed pick, Fame Game to win The Melbourne Cup and he’ll take home $467,000. 

During the chat with Hughesy & Kate on KIIS FM’s Drive show, Simon revealed that after his win in the Caulfield Cup he was offered $70,000 to cash out but he turned it down. He’s planning on taking all his mates to LA to celebrate if he wins.
