Radio stations can win equipment and services valued at over 3,800 euro ($6,000) by taking part in the World Radio Contest for World Radio Day on February 13th.
To win, stations need to prepare and broadcast a 2-minute segment using the theme ‘Radio: a vehicle for dialogue, tolerance and peace.’
In total six prizes will be awarded, one for each of the following languages: Arabic, Chinese, English, French, Russian and Spanish.
The competition, open to all radio stations, is being organised by the European Radio Show with the support of UNESCO.
