World Audio survey

WorldAudio has released the results of its first listener survey , which showed the company’s Western Sydney radio station “Radio 2,” is attracting listeners in line with competitors ABC NewsRadio and Radio 2SM in that part of Sydney.

The survey was conducted by Roy Morgan Research Centre for Radio 2 1611AM “The New Voice of Sydney’s West”. The sample for demographic representation was found to “closely match the AC Nielsen distribution across Western and South Western Sydney.”

The Morgan survey result shows Radio 2 has a weekly cumulative audience of 1%, “similar to that achieved by ABC NewsRadio and Radio 2SM in the region.” Radio 2 “has been successful in establishing a primary audience focus on the 25-64 demographics with 85% of the audience in that group,” according to the company’s Directors.

The directors of WorldAudio Limited “are encouraged by this initial listener survey, which is our first in the market,” said a company announcement to the Stock Exchange.
