In the past week there have been several departures from World Audio’s Radio 2 station in Sydney’s western suburbs.

General Manager Michael Hibard and General Sales Manager John Simmons have both left the station, as have several staff from the sales department.

Andrew Peter Thompson told radioinfo: “I have instigated a restructure of the Radio 2 organisation. Radio 2 now operates at a vastly increased level of effectiveness and the organisation is optimal for our imminent National Radio 2 broadcast start-up reaching 12 million in population from 5th November.”

“’Mass Sackings’ is a vast exaggeration and not even correct, no-one has been ‘sacked,’ says Thompson.
