The less than successful joint venture between Virgin and Macquarie Radio is reportedly still alive and well.

After much fanfare, Virgin Radio Australia failed to stir much action in recent months during the auctions for new FM licences in Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney.

Macquarie boss, John Singleton, has always maintained there are numerous avenues of possibility for the joint venture.

He says everyone still gets on well and they might still do something together.
