To celebrate the historic Western Bulldogs AFL Premiership and the strong bond being developed with the City of Ballarat, Ballarat’s Hit Music Station, 1031 Power FM has changed its name to “Bulldogs FM”.

The Western Bulldogs established an office in Ballarat in Central Victoria at the beginning of this year and are committed to playing games at Eureka Stadium from 2017 Program Director, Garrath Cockerell said the change was reflective of mood of the community, “Everyone is right behind the Western Bulldogs in Ballarat, even if you follow another team, we’ve all made the doggies our second team”.

To show the Western Bulldogs how much the win means to Ballarat and to celebrate their visit with the premiership cup this afternoon, 1031 Bulldogs FM will be on air all day today along with a live broadcast from the community event in the main street of Ballarat from 4pm .
